Dragon Boats
The Dragon Boat Club introduced the first two dragon boats to the community on May 13, 2012 when they held their first practice. They have teams for everyone and are continually expanding. They are also very proud to have the only dragon boat training center in North Florida.
This year we are thrilled to have the Jacksonville Dragon Boat Club and their friends the Mammoglams at the games to show off their amazing racing boats. They encourage anyone who might be interested in signing up, they have teams for men, women, mixed, and breast cancer survivors. 2024 is the year of the dragon, so we hope everyone will come celebrate with us at the Scottish Festival! The Jax Dragon Boat Club has produced some world class athletes that are on Team USA. It's a great sport and they have a great program and training center housed at Windward Marine in Jacksonville Beach. Come check out these amazing watercraft before they’re gone.
