Host Band: Jacksonville Pipes & Drums |
| As usual the Northeast Florida Scottish Games and Festival are fortunate enough to enjoy the sounds of our “host band” the Jacksonville Pipes and Drums. In addition to their presence at the games, this wonderful group has provided a strong musical presence at pre-games functions, St. Andrews Society events, the Gator Bowl parade, and other scots related events. The band also performs “gigs” frequently at local venues. |
Competition for Pipe & Drum Bands is run by the Southern United States Pipe Band Association (SUSPBA). The 2007 Northeast Florida Games were host to 9 competing bands in addition to our Guest Band and Host Band.
View the pageantry of Massed Bands assembled for Opening Ceremonies at noon & Closing Ceremonies at 5:00 p.m.
