Welcome, Throwers!

The Northeast Florida Scottish Games & Festival will run 4 Heavy Athletic divisions -- Amateur Class A, Amateur Class B, Amateur Class C,
Novice (1st time throwers), Masters and Women's Division.

Events include: 
Clahneart or "Stone of Strangth" (16 lbs. Stone)
22 Lbs. Hammer Throw
28 Lbs. Weight Toss
56 Lbs. Weight Throw 
56Lbs. Wright Toss for Height
Turning the Caber/ Caber Toss
Sheaf Toss (16Lbs.)

Gate Opens for competition ..............7:00am
All Vehicles off field ............................8:30am
Awards ..................................................5:00pm

We encourage kilted beginers (novices) to be on the field by 8:30am
on the day of the Games to try your hand as a "Thrower"!

"Only participants and officials are allowed on the playing fields. All others, including spouses and or families will remain behind all barriers. Anyone not authorized in the area will be asked to leave the area and or escorted off the premises."
